Community Kitchens is a non-profit organization that serves our community with the support of local towns, businesses, organizations, and caring individuals in northeastern Connecticut.
Monday through Friday, we serve a free nutritious meal in a hospitable setting. All are Welcome.

We are enormously grateful for the funds, food, time, space, and compassion of those who collaborate with us in addressing food insecurity in our region.
We provide over 18,000 meals each year. This includes home-style meals served each day at one of our 5 meal sites. During the Covid -19 pandemic we are providing take out meals and a bag of groceries.

In light of the continually evolving COVID-19 situation and recommendations to limit public gatherings, Community Kitchens of Northeaster Connecticut sites have transitioned our sit-down meals to “Take out only” meals. “Take-out only” will be available Monday in Woodstock, Tuesday in Central Village, Wednesday in Danielson, and Friday in Moosup and the fourth Thursday of each month in Thompson. We recognize the need and will continue to work toward a food secure northeastern Connecticut, as long as we can safely continue to do so.
